We See Through Our Own Lens.

The purpose of this blog is to raise the level of consciousness in people who may or may not have the chance to hear a black perspective on societal issues. This blog provides a lens through which to look beyond the superficial image of what you know and think about Black folks and the Black community to understand the journey, the struggle, and the way forward. We see what we want to see, what we are privy to seeing, and what we see is a reflection of our own realities.
